Meet the Team

Miss Liz joined the Teddyville team in October 2022, starting as a preschool educator before becoming the supervisor. With six years of experience in childcare, Liz's passion for the field was inspired by her mother, an ECE, and her childhood memories of helping and pretending to be a daycare teacher. She loves learning from the curious minds at Teddyville and is excited to welcome a new little one into her family.

Ms Freda joined the Teddyville family in May 2024 after earning her Early Childhood education diploma from Algonquin College. Her passion for working with children began through community outreach programs in her home country, the Philippines, before moving to Canada. She loves watching her students learn and grow. Outside of work, Freda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and capturing nature through photography.

Miss Doaa is an enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator Assistant with over seven years of experience helping little learners grow, explore, and shine. She’s currently completing her ECE studies and loves creating spaces where children feel safe, curious, and excited to learn new things.

When she’s not busy making learning fun, you’ll often find Doaa curled up with a good book, planning exciting activities, or exploring new ideas she can bring into the classroom. Her passions keep her inspired, playful, and always ready to spark joy and imagination in every child she meets.

Kiran is a warm and caring educator with over 10 years of experience in early childhood education. Originally from Pakistan, she has worked as an Early Childhood Educator, ECE Coordinator, and Teacher Educator, giving her a deep understanding of child development and skills to support both the children and fellow educators. Kiran is passionate about creating nurturing, engaging, and inclusive environments where children can explore, play, and grow. She also enjoys sharing her passion for early learning. When she’s not in the classroom, Kiran can be found enjoying inspirational books or traveling along with good friends.

Miss Katie joined the Teddyville family in December 2024 as our wonderful Program Assistant, bringing a spark of creativity and care to every day. With a background in Psychology and a love for child development and mental well-being, she knows just how to support little minds and hearts. Her prior experience in Office Administration helps keep the classroom organized and running smoothly, while her crafty side adds a playful and imaginative touch. Miss Katie loves bringing new ideas into the classroom, whether it’s fun projects, engaging activities, or colorful creations. Outside of Teddyville, you might find Katie enjoying a good movie, hunting for treasures while shopping, or diving into her latest craft project. With her combination of warmth, organization, and creativity, she makes every day at Teddyville brighter and full of smiles!

Nicolina has been working with Teddyville for over two years. She has been many roles here in the centre. With her passion for cooking, she makes sure that all our Teddyville children are fed nutritious meals, that are always kid friendly. She is also a face the children see in the classrooms quite frequently as she supports our main educators from time to time. Nicolina plays a crucial role here at Teddyville with her many hats she wears, but her main role she has is being a mom to two lovely girls that have both attended Teddyville.
